I want to install a chimney 12” below my TV, will the heat cause any damage to my TV?

The heat output of the electric fireplaces are controllable, so the amount of heat put out is up to the end-user. In most cases, they don't put out enough heat to damage things, but you'll want to be aware of the heat settings.
