Octagonal Burner: 180,000 BTU Warming Trends Crossfire Brass Burner Kit (CFBO180) 14.75″ x 15.75″ - Openings 22" to 32"
Question 1: The standard size round plate is 30" but my opening is 31.5". If I were to use 2" - 3" lava rock, could I use the 30" round plate with a 1.5" gap or do I absolutely need to order a custom plate at 31" (note that I do not want to use hardy board as shown in one of your videos). Question 2: If I were to order TODAY, what is the current turn around on a 180,000 Octagonal Burner with a *standard* 30" round plate? Question 3: If I were to order TODAY, what is the current turn around on a 180,000 Octagonal Burner with a *custom* 31" round plate?

Yes, you can use a 30" plate with 31.5" opening if you use larger rocks to fill. Standard lava may fall through the gap, but larger pebbles won't. Lead times are changed/updated on each page under "Shipping Times & Costs". Custom plates add about a week.
